A Plumtree teenager alleged stabbed a man to death at a party in the border town following a dispute over a girlfriend.

Nature Ngwenya (18) appeared before at the Plumtree magistrates’ court last week facing a murder charge.

Ngwenya was not asked to plead to the charge and was remanded in custody to October 2.

Ngwenya saw the now deceased Njabulo Ncube drinking and dancing to music.

Ncube picked a girl at the party and started dancing with her and Ngwenya claimed she was his lover. He dragged Ncube for a distance before stabbing him. —Own Corespondent
