Burning cigarrette as time passes by
BY NYASHADZASHE CHIKUMBU
There is something hypnotic about the way a cigarette burns
You inhale and wait wait as smoke slowly burns into your lungs
You are sharply reminded of the sheer uselessness of it all time life life time
They’re all smoking mirrors the greatest scheme of all grand schemes
You exhale the smoke and it drifts into nothingness time is neither here nor there life is one slow smokeless wait after all you're only given it
Ah nally the bus is here
